Wild Country Gardens

Wild Country Gardens is made up of a fruit and vegetable farm nestled in a beautiful forested area near Wildwood Alberta just off of Yellowhead Highway.  Wild Country Gardens was started in 2010 and has been growing every year since.  We take pride in taking the extra steps by taking their products right to market

We Grow, Harvest and Produce Local Made Products.

In 2010 we started to plant our orchard. Our first choice was the U Of S  Romance Cherries

Our orchard consists of over 2800 fruit trees and bushes, all planted by us over the last 14 years.  The Gardens feature approximately 2500 heads of garlics (German Red, Cream De La Rosa and Persian Star) and a large variety of vegetables and herbs which we use for making our products.

We have added a second extra-large Freeze Drier that we use to process our vegetables, fruits, herbs and yes we make some sweet snacks, all for sale.

Several of the local stores carry a full line of our products, plus we also ship and have been known to deliver to Edmonton, Spruce Grove and Stoney Plain.

Here’s what you can discover at our farm:

Assorted Fruit Trees and Berry Bushes: Wild Country Gardens boasts over 2500 assorted fruit trees and berry bushes. Imagine strolling through rows of vibrant trees and bushes, each bearing nature’s sweet bounty.

Fruit Jellies: Our prize-winning jellies are crafted from our fruits grown in our orchard which gives them an amazing flavor and color that will tantalize your taste buds.

Fruit Juices: These juices are made from our own fruit, the juice is extracted either by a fruit press or a steam process. Loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants, each berry contributes its unique nutrients.

Herb Teas: Sip on refreshing herbal teas like Mint, Spearmint, Peppermint, and Apple Mint, sweetened naturally with Honey or Stevia.

Fresh and Dried Herbs: Whether you need parsley, oregano, thyme, basil, or celery, Wild Country Gardens has you covered.

Chemical Free Garlic: Their garlic, grown chemical free, it offers fantastic flavor whether enjoyed fresh or dried. Harvest time is from late July to August.

Freeze Dried Products: Treats, Fruit Snacks, Fruit Smoothies Mixes, Herbs, Vegetables and Soup Mixes

Homemade Puschens (Slippers): As a winter hobby turned business, they create slippers with soles made from leather and lined with sheepskin accented with Deer Antler buttons.

Farm Tours and Farm-to-Table Lunches are available for groups of 12 or more from May to September. During May, you can explore the orchard in full bloom, surrounded by the buzz of bumblebees and honeybees.

Wild Country Gardens participates in Alberta Open Farm Days and Local Food Week, offering free tours and a chance to shop in their on-farm store.
